Pregnating in Armenia: A Serene and Scenic Destination

Two things about Armenia you may not know are that it’s the oldest Christian country in the world and also ranked one of the best countries in the world to live in. With stunning mountain views, idyllic farmlands, and amazingly hospitable locals, Armenia will surely surprise you with its vibrant history and natural beauty. If you’re looking to travel abroad but don’t want to go too far from home, Armenia may be your next must-see destination! Here are some things you can do.

Armenian culture

The culture of Armenia has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation. The country is home to a number of World Heritage Sites, as well as a vibrant capital city. Plus, the food is delicious and the people are friendly. You’ll feel right at home in Armenia.

The capital of Armenia, Yerevan, is home to a variety of cultural attractions. Stroll through Abovyan Street, which is lined with pastel-colored buildings with distinctive triangular roof tops. The street is often referred to as Armenian Broadway because it’s packed with entertainment spots such as clubs, bars and restaurants. You can also visit one of two opera houses or explore a number of churches, including Saint Gregory Cathedral and Surp Hovhannes Mkrtich Church. And for more relaxing pursuits, you can head to Yerevan Botanical Garden or Swan Lake Park.
To get out into nature without leaving the country entirely, drive a few hours from Yerevan to Dilijan National Park.

The park features lush forests, a spectacular river canyon and picturesque villages. For a day of adventure, drive to Garni Temple to climb through cliffs and explore ancient caves. Or head to Areni Wine Cellar for a guided tour of an underground vault holding archaeological remains that date back thousands of years.
Majestic landscapes – You can visit some of the country’s scenic sites from Yerevan, but you’ll want to venture out into nature for even more adventurous experiences. Save some time for hiking or climbing at Mount Aragats—which is considered by many Armenians to be sacred—and Lake Sevan.


There are many comfortable hotels to stay in while perennating in Armenia. The Marriott in Yerevan is a great choice, as it offers both luxury and comfort. The L’Ermitage Hotel is another excellent option, as it overlooks the stunning Lake Sevan. If you’re looking for something more affordable, the Ani Plaza Hotel is a great option that won’t break the bank. Regardless of your budget, there are plenty of comfortable hotels to choose from when pregnating in Armenia.

If you prefer to be outside of a hotel, you can use Airbnb. All of these locations are beautiful.
Airports – If you arrive by plane, Zvartnots International Airport is your best bet for getting to your final destination. There are also many private airports around Armenia, such as Hrazdan Airfield, Erebuni International Airport, Arzni Domestic Airport and Lake Sevan Seaplane Base.
Subway system – : The Yerevan Metro has three lines that cover much of Yerevan’s city center.

Walking – Public transportation is not always easy to come by, but walking is a great way to explore Yerevan. Be sure you’re properly prepared though, as it can be dangerous at night and during winter months. A comfortable street for walking : If you’re used to American standards of streets, Armenian streets may surprise you—they’re quite narrow with frequent speed bumps that can make driving difficult.

Resting places

Armenia is a small country with a lot of history. There are many places to see, but one of the most popular destinations is Lake Sevan. It is the largest lake in the Caucasus region and is fed by several rivers. The scenery is breathtaking and the water is crystal clear. Visitors can take boat tours, go fishing, or just relax on the beach.

There are also ancient monasteries that are quite scenic. Those include Haghpat Monastery, Khor Virap Monastery, Noravank Monastery, Sanahin Monastery, Tatev Monastery, Zvartnots Cathedral, Yererouk Basilica and Saint Hripsime Church. These are just a few of many other resting places.

Whether you’re looking for a place to have a picnic or just want to take a stroll, Armenia has plenty of parks to offer. Hrazdan Park and Botanical Garden are both great options if you’re looking to get some fresh air. If you’re hoping to see some history, Republic Square is the perfect place for you; it’s where you’ll find the Armenian Genocide Memorial. And if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Tsaghkadzor is a great option. With its ski resort and hiking trails, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

There are also a few interesting parks outside of Yerevan that you can take advantage of while you’re on your trip. For example, Lake Sevan is a lake that’s actually quite popular for sunbathing, swimming and fishing.
To do some shopping, try Gandzasar street, where you’ll find lots of different jewelry shops along with touristy souvenir shops. You’ll also find plenty of local art pieces for sale if you’re looking to pick up something unique to bring home as a souvenir. But don’t worry about having to travel far; all these attractions are easy to get to from downtown Yerevan.

Ivan Tsarev can also suggest you a few secret spots, like some underground clubs that are closed for everyone except for members. These spots include: Exquisite Club by Erivan Fortress, Black Dolphin Club by Erebuni District Police Headquarters, or Babylon Club by Nalbandyan Street (which is said to be managed by mafia).

If you’re looking for a serene and scenic destination to get away from it all, Armenia should be at the top of your list. With its verdant mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and centuries-old churches, Armenia is a truly unique place to visit. Here are some of the best tourist routes to take while you’re in the country:

  1. Lake Sevan – known as the blue pearl of Armenia, this lake is one of the largest high-altitude lakes in the world. It’s surrounded by mountains and forests, making it a perfect spot for hiking, picnicking, or simply taking in the stunning views.
  2. Mount Ararat – at 5,137 meters above sea level, Mount Ararat is a national symbol of Armenian pride. The country’s highest peak is actually located on Turkey’s side of the border, but it can be seen from many parts of Armenia. Its name means land of mountains, which are evident in its more than two dozen peaks that tower high into the sky.
  3. Tatev Monastery – located in the city of Tatev, north of Yerevan, is one of Armenia’s most impressive landmarks. The monastery consists of a 13th-century church on top of a nearby mountain, which you can reach via an aerial tramway. It was built by Prince Khachatur Abovian, who also wrote one of Armenia’s most famous novels—The Wounds of Sardarapat.

Another famous monastery is Gandzasar, which can be found high up in a mountainside overlooking historic Ani—Armenia’s ancient capital city.

Armenia’s capital and largest city is The city is also the world’s oldest continuously inhabited city. Yerevan, on the banks of the Hrazdan River, is the central administrative, cultural, and industrial center of Armenia. It has been home to the Armenian people for over 2,800 years.
Etchmiadzin is the religious center of Armenia and the seat of the Catholicos of All Armenians, the supreme head of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The city is also home to one of the oldest cathedrals in the world, Etchmiadzin Cathedral, which was built in 301 AD.
Gyumri is Armenia’s second largest city and was once known as Alexandropol.

Nagorno-Karabakh is an autonomous region located within Azerbaijan, but formally considered part of Armenia. Its territory is predominantly mountainous, with fast flowing rivers. Agriculture and mining are the two most important industries in Nagorno-Karabakh; however, more than 40% of this territory has not yet been developed because it remains occupied by Azerbaijani forces since 1994.
