Choosing which Disney resort is right for your family will depend on your budget, how much time you want to spend in Anaheim and what kind of accommodations fit your family’s personality.

Whether you’re looking to splurge or save, there are plenty of choices — from luxury hotels like Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, where you can enjoy top-notch services that make you feel like royalty, to smaller in-park inns such as Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, with cozy cottages where families can really unwind. With dozens of options to choose from at each resort, it’s easy to find comfortable living quarters with a pleasant view!

One Bedroom Villas at Disney California Adventure Resort

Although not on-site, Disney California Adventure Resort offers One Bedroom Villas which are spacious, well-equipped accommodations with relaxing ambience. Amenities include two queen-size beds, dining table with seating for four people, a living room area with comfortable sectional sofa bed that can sleep another two guests, an oversized shower in the bathroom plus plenty of storage space. You’ll also have access to all of Disney California Adventure Resort’s facilities. As they say in Walt Disney World – there is something for everyone at Disneyland!

With its location within Disney California Adventure Resort, One Bedroom Villas offer an ideal setting in which to enjoy one of Southern California’s most popular theme parks. Disneyland Park offers over 80 rides, attractions and entertainment options – so you can’t get bored. With Frontierland, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, New Orleans Square and Mickey’s Toontown just waiting to be explored, there is something new around every corner! You don’t have to choose – whether you want to get your groove on in Tomorrowland, or take the road with a special set of ears and a too-long name. Everybody can have a blast at the happiest place on earth.

The Grand Californian Hotel

Once you check in, head up to your room at The Grand Californian Hotel. Once there, you’ll immediately notice all of little details that make it so special. High-quality linens, down comforters and luxurious pillows provide a comfortable night’s sleep. Refrigerators are stocked with complimentary cold drinks, chilled water bottles are available upon request and deluxe bath amenities ensure each morning begins right.

You may have a craving for something sweet at the end of the day, but if you have cable, you’ll have access to a service called On Demand, which will allow you to select from a list of popular movies or instructions on how to make your own pizza. When it comes time to check out, just leave your key at reception – they’ll clean up after you, tidy up your room and pack all of your belongings. Three Bedroom Villa at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort

These villas are 1,500 square feet, with three bedrooms, two baths, and a spacious living room. There’s also a dining room, kitchen area with breakfast bar, large pantry closet and laundry area. Each bedroom has two queen beds. One bedroom has an additional queen bed trundle that can sleep two people. These villas have an expansive full-length balcony overlooking Bay Lake. The floor plan also features two outdoor whirlpool spas facing Bay Lake.

Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort offers three-bedroom villas that are perfect for families with small children. These villas have one master bedroom and two additional bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, while each of the other two bedrooms has twin beds. There’s also an additional queen bed trundle in one of these rooms.

Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Orlando Florida

Opened in 1988, The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Orlando is one of Disney’s flagship hotels. The hotel is located on Walt Disney World’s monorail route, allowing guests to travel from Magic Kingdom to Epcot and Hollywood Studios within minutes. The resort has recently undergone a renovation. Guest rooms have been renovated with modern decor; many also feature balconies offering views of Magic Kingdom Park, Seven Seas Lagoon, or Bay Lake Tower at night.

Central Florida’s climate is also unique. Orlando has both tropical rainforests, sandy beaches, as well as an active ski resort area. The on-site Disney World water parks add to these options. There are many shopping malls in the vicinity of Walt Disney World, each of which provides many different options for food and entertainment should you need to venture out. By visiting Orlando during off-peak times, visitors can take advantage of affordable rates while still enjoying themselves at world-class facilities.

Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa

Saratoga Springs is a beautiful choice for Disney Vacation Club members. The grand lobby, complete with high ceilings, chandeliers, intricate molding and lush paintings gives off a real Gilded Age vibe. The high-ceilinged rooms are spacious enough to easily accommodate families of five. With two queen beds, two full baths and kitchenettes that feature coffee makers and microwave ovens, Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa offers comfortable accommodations for those who want to stay on-site but prefer to have separate rooms. Swimming pools are nearby, along with recreation areas. This three on-site restaurants provide plenty of food options, if you happen to be there for a while.

Grand Californian Hotel & Spa: The Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is another Disney Vacation Club property that offers incredibly luxurious accommodations. Its grand lobby gives guests an idea of what they can expect from their accommodations. The high-ceilinged rooms are decorated in elegant, Victorian style furniture and furnishings. This resort offers four pools, two children’s play areas, restaurants and cafes when you need to leave your room, and lots of hiking trails if you want to get away or simply change scenery.

Campsites

Every resort at Disneyland offers on-site camping, including Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, which has tons of amenities and can make your Disneyland stay as comfortable as it is fun. Most campsites offer modern amenities like air conditioning, shower facilities and daily maid service. The only drawback is that tent campers must carry their gear to their campsite—it’s not provided to them. For most guests, though, that’s not an issue because they can rent equipment from Disney or pack light enough to avoid carrying a heavy load. People with every convenience can avoid any physical labor and also enjoy a variety of on-site cabin facilities-some of which are even steps away from the gates of Disneyland’s Magic Kingdom park!

The cabin amenities are similar to those at hotels, with perks like private bathrooms, microwaves, mini-fridges and plush beds. Every cabin comes with a kitchenette as well as a washer/dryer unit so you can wash clothes while you’re staying there. Some of these cabins even come with extras like Wi-Fi access or kitchen essentials if you forgot anything during your trip! Because they’re only steps away from Disney’s main park gates, it’s easy to enjoy all of Disneyland Resort’s fantastic rides and attractions without having to travel far after camping all day. You don’t even have to sacrifice comfort by staying near the campsite – Cabins are also available inside Disneyland itself!
